I am finishing my PhD from energy technology department (Aalborg University) on August 2015. I want apply for a-kasser. I am afraid that I am little bit late. Would you help to complete the process.

thank your for your question.
You have less than one year left. Therefore you have to use the rule for new graduates.

You can apply for membership from about 6 months before ending study, so think you can do that now.
It's free of cost until you finish study.
I think you should choose an A-kasse specialized in people with high education.
