Hi,
Currently, I am receiving unemployment benefit, since January, and I was wondering if I could deregister for 3-4 months, so I wouldn’t receive the benefits for those months, and then register again and continue receiving the benefits? Would I loose my rights for the benefits, or would I remain in the reference period? At the moment two out of three people at my Akasse said yes, and one said no, very confusing.

Hi,
yes you can deregister from Jobnet.dk and tell the A-kasse that you dont want to receive dagpenge for a period.
You will remain in the current reference period, and can continue to receive dagpenge after the 3-4 months.
