Hello,
I moved to Copenhagen from Greece last December. Since April I am working at a cafe for about 25 hour per week. My contact will end in the end of this month and for August I and I am accepted to do an internship related to my studies. As the internship is not paid am I eligible to receive some financial suppport?

Hi,
you don’t tell us so much, but the generel rule is that you can not get unemployment benefits (“dagpenge”) if you are not fully available for the labor market. If you are in an internship you will not be available for the labor market.
You don’t tell us if you already are member of an A-kasse. But after you have graduated you can sign up for A-kasse and will be able to get dagpenge as a newly graduate.
After you have been approved for dagpenge there will be some activities you can participate in and at the same time receive dagpenge. One of these is “virksomhedspraktik”.
As a graduate on “dimittenddagpenge” you can have up to 8 weeks virksomhedspraktik while receiving dagpenge.Read our guide for graduates here: https://www.a-kasser.dk/graduates/
